TULSA, OK, Mar. 3, 2015 -- ConnectShip^® | iShip^®, a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS^® that provides on-premise and off-premise multi-carrier shipping software, announced that the company's general manager, Kevin V. Cox, has been named one of the Pros to Know award winners in Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. The magazine is an international business-to-business publication that addresses supply chain-related issues and challenges, and recognizes industry leaders with the annual Pros to Know award.

Kevin Cox was selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive selection committee based on his 16 years of industry experience and his insight into what he believes will be key challenges for customers in the supply chain and logistics industries in the years ahead.

"Maintaining business continuity across multiple geographies will be among the significant challenges our customers will face," said Kevin Cox, general manager of ConnectShip. "We believe there is likely to be more disruption to the State governments within which our customers operate. The technology must be nimble enough to enable new modalities for moving goods to address the instability of the emerging markets as they take shape."

Now in its fourteenth year, the Pros to Know Award recognizes supply chain executives, and manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies' supply chains for the significant challenges of today's business climate. This year's list includes the 2015 Provider Pros to Know -- individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet these challenges.

His background includes executive management positions in operations, finance, business development, and human resources. He serves on the American Bar Association Section of Science and Technology Law Cloud Computing Committee, is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and the District of Columbia and has earned a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Law from the University of Tulsa, College of Law.
