Happy Retirement

|
Ari Arroyo began his career with ConnectShip in 2007 as a Technical Support Analyst helping to resolve support cases and streamline customer self-help processes. Ari transitioned to a position in Business Development as a Channel Sales Supervisor in 2016. He managed customers and partners in Latin America and the U.S. as one of our only Spanish-speaking sales representatives. He represented the company at the Logistics Summit & Expo held in Mexico City in 2017 and worked with the team to integrate the hosted multi-carrier shipping solution, Professional Shipping Station, in 112 Centro de Envíos UPS (UPS retail shipping centers) in Mexico.
As a retiree, Ari plans to spend time riding his road bike, traveling to Mexico, and, of course, focusing on the “honey do” list.
We wish Ari well in his retirement and are grateful for his contributions and positive mindset during his time at ConnectShip.

ConnectShip’s United Way Day of Caring Volunteers served at the Community Service Council Of Greater Tulsa. The agency brings people together to identify community needs, search out resources, and make a match between the two. Their goal is to address many of state’s most critical social service, health, education and civic challenges. Our team supported this great agency by cleaning and moving 150 heavy office chairs from storage to another building during an ongoing construction project at their facility.
Bellevue United Way Day of Caring volunteers served their community by sorting food at Backpack Brigade. Thousands of homeless and displaced children depend on Seattle school meal programs as their primary or only food source. Backpack Brigade makes sure program-dependent kids don’t go hungry on non-school days. We were happy to help fill the 850 little tummies that rely on this agency each weekend.
Volunteers also served at Food Lifeline’s main Seattle warehouse, repacking bulk groceries into smaller portions for some of the the 97,000 meals provided to Western Washington families daily.
