Robert Kinyon
Director of Software Engineering
Robert Kinyon serves as the Director of Software Engineering for ConnectShip and is a
widely known inventor in the shipping technology space with five patents having been issued
for his inventions over the last thirty years. He served as the VP of Software Engineering
and Chief Software Architect for TanData. While widely known for his technology acumen, he
is considered an expert in the field of transportation, distribution, and logistics. He
actively manages the research, design, architecture, and programmatic execution of
ConnectShip’s patented technology. He received his Bachelors of Science in Computer
Science from the University of Tulsa.
Bruce Sale
Director of Operations
Bruce serves as the Director of Operations for ConnectShip. He is a 36-year shipping
solutions veteran, and before coming to ConnectShip he led teams of professional
developers and analysts, providing custom analysis and data integration services, as
well as internal infrastructure and spearheading UPS efforts to modernize data strategy
in the cloud. Bruce has a history of providing new efficiencies and capabilities not
previously possible. Bruce has a passion for all aspects of the solutions development
process, from design, development, and collaboration, to integration, improving his
customers’ ability to serve theirs.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Bruce started his career in logistics at UPS in 1986
in Industrial Engineering. Bruce currently lives in Atlanta Georgia with his wife and
their two rescue dogs. They have two adult children. Bruce enjoys camping with his family,
following the aerospace industry, and attending rocket launches.
Curtis Gouyd
Senior Applications Development Manager
Curtis began at TanData/ConnectShip in December of 1996, as a Technical Support Analyst,
while attending Tulsa University. Since that time he has served in various positions
including Technical Support Supervisor, Application Developer, and Software Engineer.
He was responsible for maintaining/adding functionality to the ChainLink shipping
application, the XML Processor, and various other projects. He joined the software
engineering group in 2008 where he was responsible for implementation and documentation
of new features and maintaining carrier compliance for carriers like UPS, FedEx, USPS,
DHL, and TNT. He was also responsible for maintaining new features in the Toolkit's XML
API and assisting technical support with issues where additional guidance or assistance
was needed, becoming a lead software engineer in 2013. As lead software engineer he was
responsible for managing and mentoring software engineers who maintain carrier compliance
and add new functionality to our core product offerings.
Curtis volunteers his time as the maintenance director at his church and the church Christian
academy. He also serves as the head usher at his church where he manages schedules for
regular church services and special events. He loves to help others at home, church,
and work, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family on their adventurous
family vacations or just a weekend at the lake.
Glenn Carr
Senior Software Architecture Manager
Glenn Carr serves as the Software Engineering Architecture Manager for ConnectShip. Prior to
joining ConnectShip, Glenn designed and developed software for 3D satellite imaging systems
for E-Systems/Raytheon in support of Gulf War Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Glenn then moved into the oil and gas industry, designing and developing wellbore and
well-construction planning, information, and visualization software for DRD/Landmark
Graphics/Halliburton. After joining ConnectShip, Glenn was issued multiple patents for shipping
technology inventions and is currently responsible for software architecture and development.
Glenn received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Harding University. Glenn enjoys
spending time outdoors whether it be in the garden, with family, or running.
Miranda (Gerken) McMahon
Senior Operations Manager
Miranda is the Senior Operations Manager at ConnectShip. She has been employed in the shipping
technology space for
20
years in various capacities including, sales, marketing, channel management, partner relations,
technical support, and business development. Miranda currently leads the business development
and marketing teams.
Miranda received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State
University. Miranda resides in Tulsa with her family. In her spare time Miranda enjoys staying
active and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
