CONNECTSHIP TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE TO BE HELD JUNE 10-12, 2013 UNDER NEW NAME

The ConnectShip Technology Conference will now be branded ICON, the ConnectShip Technology Conference and co-hosted with iShip.

ConnectShip, a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS and multi-carrier shipping software provider, will again host a technology conference for users and resellers of its multi-carrier shipping software. The conference will now be called ICON, the ConnectShip Technology Conference, and will be co-hosted with iShip, also a subsidiary of UPS, located in Seattle, Washington. Like the ConnectShip Technology Conference held in 2011, the new 2013 conference will include keynote speakers, business and technical presentations and the demonstrations of a new shipping solution currently in development. ICON will be held June 10-12, 2013 at the Red Rock Las Vegas.

"We are changing the name from the ConnectShip Technology Conference to ICON, the ConnectShip Technology Conference, in order to establish a brand for this industry-specific event," said Kevin V. Cox, General Manager of iShip and ConnectShip. "In addition to presenting our own technology road map and new product offerings, we want to bring users together to collaborate and hear how other companies have solved problems related to multi-carrier logistics. This new name will be used for all future technology conferences for users and solution providers of multi-carrier shipping technology."
